Principal Brand Designer

Website Informed.IQ

Remote; Must reside in the U.S.
Reports to: VP, Marketing
Type: Full-time
Posting Close Date: October 31, 2026

This is a full-time, senior individual contributor role. Their role would encompass the below responsibilities:

Brand Overhaul & System

  • Lead a complete brand identity overhaul: visual identity, guidelines, and the underlying design system that keeps everything consistent as the company scales. We need to visually represent that we operate on the cusp of innovation.
  • Build and maintain a brand toolkit other teams can use without diluting the brand

Trade Shows & Physical Presence

  • Design booth concepts and layouts for our (frequent) trade show presence
  • Create printed collateral, signage, and event assets
  • Design swag and branded merchandise that people actually want to keep

Market Expansion

  • Build custom sales and pitch decks for new markets we’re expanding into, using AI as a drafting accelerant where useful, but ensuring every output rigorously adheres to brand standards
  • Adapt brand assets and messaging tone for new market contexts as needed

Ongoing Marketing & Content Design

  • Design case studies and other sales enablement material
  • Produce social media graphics on a recurring cadence
  • Webinar branding
  • Design a new company website, plus landing pages for campaigns and product launches, in partnership with marketing and web/dev
  • Build custom landing pages and personalized content for ABM (account-based marketing) campaigns, tailored to specific target accounts or segments
  • Design ad creative for paid media across channels (social, display, retargeting, etc.)
  • Analyst relations / PR kit assets (press kit, media one-pagers)

Video & Motion

  • Produce product videos and brand videos for use at events, on the website, and in social/paid channels
  • Create motion graphics or short-form video content to support campaigns and trade show presence
  • Own the visual and editing style for video the same way you’d own it for static brand assets
  • Create video content from owned events (e.g. CAB, Informed hosted dinners, etc.)

Sales & Revenue Enablement

  • One-pagers, battlecards, and sell sheets for the sales team
  • Proposal/RFP templates
  • Email templates for outbound/nurture campaigns

Company-Level Brand Extensions

  • Employer brand / recruiting materials (careers page, job post templates, LinkedIn graphics) – especially as we grow our team
  • Internal templates (slide templates, doc headers) so the whole company stays on-brand without needing a designer for every internal deck

Partnerships & Ecosystem

  • Co-marketing/co-branded assets for channel or integration partners
  • Enablement materials for our partners’ sales teams
  • (Eventually) Creation of a “hub” for our partners to access our latest and greatest

Visual System Depth

  • Icon and illustration system (custom icons vs. stock, especially relevant if the product UI needs brand-aligned iconography)
  • Photography direction/style guide (even if you don’t shoot original photography, guidance on selects/treatment)

This is a wide, continuous workload which is why we need someone senior enough to own it end-to-end without close supervision.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in brand or visual design, with a portfolio that shows range: identity systems, digital, print, and environmental/experiential design
  • Proven ability to build or evolve a brand system from the ground up, and keep it consistent as a company scales
  • Strong opinions about typography, color, layout, and visual voice and the ability to explain why, not just what
  • Experience designing for physical spaces (trade show booths, print, swag) as well as digital (web, decks, social)
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate process work, paired with the judgment to know where AI output is not good enough for anything customer-facing
  • Self-directed – you can take a loosely-defined brief and run with it without hand-holding
  • Bonus: experience designing for a company expanding into new geographic or vertical markets and familiarity with fintech

What Makes This a Senior/Principal Role

We’re not looking for someone we’ll train from scratch. We need someone who:

  • Already has the taste and experience to make final creative calls independently
  • Can manage competing priorities across trade shows, market expansion, and always-on content needs without a design director directing traffic
  • Will set the bar for what “on-brand” means at our company, and hold that line even under deadline pressure

Benefits and Perks:

  • Fully Remote
  • Travel as needed to client visits, trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Competitive salary (range: $205,000-236,000) and stock options
  • Role is equity eligible and may be eligible for bonuses
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision fully paid by the company with support for partners and dependents
  • 401k
  • $500 desk setup subsidy to set-up your unique remote office
  • Unlimited paid time-off in addition to paid company holidays
